The MAGNA – Vishu Kani Competition 2026 was organized with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit, bringing together members to celebrate the essence of Vishu through creativity, devotion, and togetherness. The competition received an overwhelming response, with participants beautifully presenting their traditional Vishu Kani arrangements and family moments in Kerala attire, reflecting the true spirit of the festival.
About the Competition
The competition invited participants to submit two photographs—one showcasing the Vishu Kani arranged at their homes and another featuring their family dressed in traditional Kerala attire. The entries were judged based on authenticity, creativity, presentation, and adherence to tradition. Each submission reflected not just visual beauty but also the emotional and cultural connection associated with Vishu celebrations.

The competition was evaluated by Cartoonist Sudheernath, Chairman, Kerala Cartoon Academy & Member, Malayalam Mission, whose expertise and keen eye for detail added great value to the judging process.

Prize Details
The winners will be awarded the following cash prizes:
- 1st Prize – ₹1500/-
- 2nd Prize – ₹1000/-
- 3rd Prize – ₹500/-
The prizes will be distributed during the GBM scheduled on 19.04.2026.
