From the General Secretary

Dear Members and Well-Wishers,

It is with great pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I assume the role of General Secretary of MAGNA for the term 2026–2029. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all members for the trust placed in me, and I look forward to working together to further strengthen our vibrant community.

Since its inception in 2022 under the visionary leadership of Mr. Jayaraj Nair and all others founding members, MAGNA has grown into a dynamic and inclusive platform that unites Malayalees in Greater Noida. Over the past few years, the association has made remarkable strides in cultural preservation, social service, educational support, and community building. From memorable Onam celebrations and cultural programs to meaningful charitable initiatives and the establishment of a Malayalam Study Centre, our journey has been both inspiring and impactful.

Today, with a strong membership base around 200 Malayalee families and growing, MAGNA stands as a symbol of unity, tradition, and service. As we move into the next phase, our focus will be on expanding this foundation and creating even greater value for our members and society.

Our Vision for 2026–2029

In the coming three years, we aim to:

  • Expand Membership: Grow our MAGNA family to over 300 members, ensuring wider participation and stronger community representation.
  • Strengthen Community Bonds: Foster deeper connections among member families through regular gatherings, interactive programs, and collaborative initiatives.
  • Enhance Cultural and Educational Efforts: Continue promoting Malayalam language and Kerala traditions while introducing new learning opportunities for our younger generation.
  • Increase Social Impact: Expand our charitable activities, including scholarships, health camps, and welfare support for those in need.
  • Promote Welfare Initiatives: Take forward long-term projects such as women’s hostels, elderly care support, and community assistance programs.
  • Encourage Inclusiveness and Collaboration: Build stronger ties with other communities and organizations, promoting harmony and shared growth.

Our mission remains rooted in preserving our heritage while adapting to the evolving needs of our community. MAGNA is not just an association—it is a home away from home, a support system, and a platform for collective progress.

I invite each one of you to actively participate, contribute your ideas, and be a part of this exciting journey ahead. Together, let us build a stronger, more connected, and compassionate MAGNA.

With warm regards,

Sumesh Vayaveettil
General Secretary
