2022 – The Beginning

  • Onam Celebration (18th September 2022)
    MAGNa’s first Onam celebration was a grand success, featuring cultural programs and a traditional Onasadya feast that brought the community together.
  • “Feeding the Hungry” Initiative (2nd October 2022)
    Launched on Gandhi Jayanti, meals were distributed to the needy, setting the foundation of MAGNa’s social responsibility.
  • Support to Malayalee Family in Gurgaon
    Financial, medical, and shelter support was extended in collaboration with Gurgaon Malayalee Association.
  • Annual Sports Day (20th November 2022)
    A vibrant day of sports and recreation held at GD Goenka International School, encouraging family participation.
  • Malayalam Study Centre Inauguration (20th November 2022)
    In collaboration with the Malayalam Mission, MAGNa started its Malayalam classes with 17 students under teacher Mrs. Veena Jyotish.
  • Kerala Piravi Celebration (6th November 2022)
    Members showcased their talents at Kerala House, Delhi, presenting Swara Raaga Laya Thala Vinyasam.

2023 – Expanding Community Footprints

  • Christmas & New Year Celebration (7th January 2023)
    A joyful gathering with more than 300 attendees.
  • Onam 2023 & Souvenir Release
    The first edition of “MAGNa Souvenir” was launched by Chief Guest Dr. Emmanuel Joseph. Distinguished guests attended the celebration, and Shri G. Harikumar (Principal, Kerala School) was felicitated for receiving the Best Principal Award of Delhi NCR.
  • “Feeding the Hungry” (2nd October 2023)
    More than 1,500 people were served meals.
  • Educational Support
    MAGNa funded Rs. 20,000 admission fees, books, and clothes for a Malayalee student.
  • Fundraising for Bone Marrow Transplant
    A community-driven effort reflecting compassion and solidarity.
  • Kerala Piravi 2023
    Members performed Bharatanatyam at Kerala House.

2024 – Growth and Recognition

  • Christmas & New Year Celebration (13th January 2024)
    Attended by 105 families, highlighted by Thudi Thalamelam along with carols and cultural events.
  • Onam 2024 – Kudumba Sangamam (22nd September 2024)
    A grand event at GD Goenka International School.
    • Chief Guests: Dr. Mohammad Ashil (WHO), Mr. KR Manoj (AIMA), Mr. Tony KG (DMA), Mr. Jason Joseph (Loka Kerala Sabha), and Ms. Deepti Nair (Social Worker).
    • Cultural lineup: Athapookalam, Thiruvathirakali, Chendamelam, fusion dances, and group songs.
    • Felicitations for students with academic excellence and teachers with outstanding contributions.
    • Event concluded with a traditional Onasadya.
  • Charity Program – “Bring Back the Lost Smile” (2nd October 2024)
    Organized at Grace Care Home, Indirapuram. Contributions included:
    • Donation of a 380-litre refrigerator.
    • Financial assistance of Rs. 50,000 (Rs. 20,000 for food & Rs. 30,000 for the refrigerator).
    • Lunch, games, and singing with the children, spreading joy.

2025 – Strengthening Community Spirit

  • Christmas & New Year Celebration (9th February 2025)
    Held at GD Goenka International School.
    • Chief Guest: Shri Subu Rahman (Director General of Customs).
    • Guests of Honor: Shri Babu Panikar (Chairman, AIMA), Dr. K. C. George (Former Director, NIPCCD), and Ms. Deepa Joseph (Chairperson, DMC).
    • Programs included:
      • Kalaripayattu performance by Satvam Kalari’s.
      • Dances by “Dhwani” group, Indirapuram.
      • Musical night and comedy show by Swara Madhuri Delhi.
    • Event concluded with a grand dinner.

Membership Growth

  • Starting in 2022 with a small group, MAGNa has steadily expanded to 166 registered members by 2025.
  • The association continues to grow with active participation from families across Greater Noida West.
