From the President’s Desk
Dear Members and Well-wishers,
It gives me immense pride and joy to reflect upon the remarkable journey of the Malayalee Association Greater Noida (MAGNa). In just a few years since our humble beginning in 2022, we have grown into a vibrant and united platform that upholds the cultural values of Kerala while embracing the diverse spirit of Greater Noida.
From our very first Onam celebration in September 2022 to the launch of our Malayalam Study Centre and the many cultural, educational, and charitable initiatives that followed, MAGNa has always remained committed to community bonding, cultural pride, and social responsibility. The “Feeding the Hungry” initiative, educational support for students, medical assistance to families in distress, and charity projects like Bring Back the Lost Smile stand as testimony to our shared compassion and humanity.
Our cultural milestones — Onam celebrations, Christmas and New Year gatherings, Kerala Piravi performances, and traditional art forms like Thiruvathirakali, Chendamelam, Kalaripayattu, and fusion dances — have not only strengthened our Malayalee identity but also showcased the richness of our heritage to the larger community. Each event has been an opportunity to bring families together, honor our language and traditions, and celebrate the joy of togetherness.
Today, with more than 166 registered members, MAGNa is steadily growing into a strong community voice in Greater Noida West. This growth reflects the dedication of our members, the support of our well-wishers, and the tireless efforts of our executive team.
As we look to the future, our vision remains clear — to expand our cultural and social initiatives, strengthen our charitable outreach, and provide a nurturing space for our children to learn, perform, and grow with the values of unity, compassion, and respect.
On behalf of MAGNa, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each member, sponsor, and friend who has stood with us in this journey. Let us continue to walk together, celebrating our culture, supporting one another, and making a lasting difference in society.
With warm regards,
Shri Jayaraj Nair
